I had a similar old model of this washer and dryer and was generally pleased with it. It lasted for many years without any problems. This new model surpassed my expectations. It™€™s much quieter than my old one & the washer tub capacity is much larger. And the alarms are not obnoxiously loud

bought unit in Dec of 21, 8 months later unit broke. Dryer would not run. 9 service calls later, 2 different service company's, and 6 months later, unit is deemed "unrepairable". continue to call and get transferred to another dept that is not accepting calls! this is a $1600 nightmare!

I guess I like it.. I liked my old one (23 years) better though. The wash cycle is noisier, and the water fill is not constant but fill/stop, fill/stop. There are too many confusing cycles. The rinse/spin is also not consistent. My old one did washable rugs and even sneakers in the wash cycle. Because of its more technical nature I am not doing that with this one. All the unnecessary whistles. I am still learning.

Overall, this appliance has exceeded all expectations! Initially there was a bit of a learning curve with this particular appliance. For example, all sweaters and anything with stitching NEEDS to be washed as delicate, otherwise, it gets all out of sorts. Secondly, towels need to be washed separately as the 'balance load' will often come on if it is not perfectly with like garments.

This was purchased only 6 months ago, and only used about 10 times. Now the washer stopped working, it shuts off at the spin cycle. While under warranty, navigating Frigidaire customer service has been frustrating. First I was told that someone would call me back in 72 hours to schedule a repair appointment (never happened), then when I called back they said I have a repair appointment scheduled 2 weeks from now??? Which nobody told me about. Beyond this issue, the ease of use with the controls is poor. I would not recommend.

For the most part I™€™m happy with the product, but the washer gets out of balance way too easy. It™€™s not easy to fix because the lid is locked and will not open for up to six minutes after the drum stops spinning. The combo of these two things can be very frustrating. The dryer works great.

The instructions say to load items in baled up pieces and lay them around evenly. This always seemed to end in an unbalanced load. I started to load it in a more traditional way - laying the items evenly around the drum and it has worked well.

Dryer had problems after 14 months, expensive to repair

We bought this unit in October 2021. Similar to the review by Bevryan1 below, the gas dryer stopped heating. We called a repairman and he said the gas valve had to replaced. He quoted us a price that was not nominal and and we are deciding if we should pay to have it fixed or replace the whole unit as we don't want to deal with more issues. It seems way too soon for a machine this new to need repairs after 14 months of use. We are frustrated and disappointed by the amount of money spent to purchase the machine only to have to fix it shortly after the manufacturer's warranty expired. We bought the Frigidaire stackable unit based on our last Frigidaire stackable unit that lasted around 16 years with little issue.

I hate my laundry center. Previously we had a front load frigidaire washer and dryer that we used for 17 years. When we wanted to replace it we naturally decided to buy a frigidaire. I am so sorry. I just tried to wash a load of clothing and it took 6 times before it would spin out because it was " out of balance." I could never leave the house and assume that a load of laundry would be finished when I got back. I hate the delay when trying to go from one cycle to another......I hate the entire setup. I would like to load it up and return it to Lowes because I couldn't in good conscience sell it to anyone but my worst enemy.

Took delivery on Saturday, a week after initial delivery date because washer dryers had not been received at HD warehouse. After 1st use I removed lint tray to remove lint as instructed and insulation came out when I removed wire screen. Stores schedule service call was scheduled for 12/26/2022..Additionally, washed has been unbalanced 3 times and sides of washer projects out.

Change is not always good

I have owned 3 Frigidaire laundry towers in the past. This is by far the most disappointing. The tub does not spin freely after the load is finished making it difficult to get clothes out. The cancel feature does not cancel anything. The lights go off and then all come back on after a few seconds. Water level never fills to max when set for it.

Purchased this gas laundry unit in 3/2021. First problem balance load didn™€™t work causing washer to go through a number of rinse cycles wasting water. Current issue dryer isn™€™t drying clothes. Repairman just left advising me I need a gas valve assembly. Called customer service to see if Frigidaire could help with the Parts and Labor and I was basically hung up on without really listening to me. I consider this a new product and it seems to be much too soon to have problems with both washer and dryer. This laundry center replaced my last laundry center which was over 20 years old. It doesn™€™t say much for your products reliability. I am extremely disappointed with Frigidaire.

Had the unit for less than 3 years and the dryer was giving an error. Followed the repair instructions replacing the motor first, then the board which didn't work. Then had to call a tech who determined the issue was with the thermal limiter, which was not even mentioned in the repair manual. $800 later it appears to work again. Don't bother purchasing as the reparability is abysmal and you'll end up paying half the MRSP to repair it or just end up getting a new one all together.

Why is there no clothes softener dispenser? Or am I missing something. How annoying to have to wait 5 minutes for the lid to unlock when you pause the machine. My old machine it wasat the most 1 minute.

We had our old washer/dryer combo for about 14 years and tried the same brand again. It was terrible and after the third time we changed brands and went with the Frigidaire model. It fit our tight space well and the dryer is very quiet. The only complaint I would say (and why it wasn™€™t given an excellent rating) is the washer spin cycle is very loud momentarily when it starts but then quiets down when spinning at full speed. Overall good appliance otherwise!

Washing machine is surprisingly noisy. My 16 year old Frigidaire washer dryer dryer died recently and this one is a lot louder. But it seems to work fine. But I don't like is the way it automatically sets itself to the highest water level and the hottest water unless you change it I think the default should be nothing until I set it Myself

This has to be the worst washer/dryer ever. The washer broke down after 2 months. I had to pay to have an LP conversion kit installed on it. The machine is now back at the store where I bought it and is scheduled to be junked because that's all it is. But Frigidaire will not refund me the cost of the conversion kit or the installation fee for it. I'm out $171.98 for a machine that onlyl laste 2 months. I will never, ever buy another Frigidaire product.
